10 Creative Business Cards

For all of you out there who own a business card, you'll agree with me that this small piece of card often gives the completely first impression of who you are and what you actually do in the palm of someone else's hand, Regardless of being a business owner or an employee, a business card is often a key part of your company's visual identity. Naturally, people and companies come in all shapes and sizes and so do the following selection of creative business cards that I've picked to be my top 10.

What a genius little idea. The two concepts below are friendly and to the point. Emerson Taymor (emersontaymor.com) promotes himself as a graphic and web designer among other things and has found a great way to stand out from all the rest while yourreactor.com uses the idea for each of its key management team. A business card represents you so why not put you on the card?

Poul Nielson, a personal trainer based in Toronto has come up with a way of directly interacting with potential clients by asking them to stretch the small piece of elasticated rubber in order to reveal the targeted information. A smart and creative way of using different material for a business card.

Call me old fashioned but it's always heart warming to see and feel something natural and simple. Kenspecklegifts.co.uk present themselves in the form of natural fabrics sewn together creating a business card or 'cloth'. It could even be used to wipe your mobile screen now and again!

I imagine these balloons are left in a bowl on the waiting room table as patients come and go. I can also imagine this doctor to be the most talked about Chest Physician in Mumbai.

Finally, two more delightful examples of playing with card. The first, (cardnetics.com) an origami style business card that can only impress and even confuse those who try to figure out how it was actually constructed. The second, a card which stylishly with a couple of folds in the right places offers us a relaxing deckchair.
